The Honourable Member representing the good people of Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta and Oru-West Federal Constituency in the National Assembly; Hon. Uju Kingsley Chima has continued to take proactive steps in implementing his pledge of advancing the desire of the people for quality legislation and representation in a way that promotes service delivery and a better standard of living for the people.
Undoubtedly, according to pundits, since his inauguration into the 9th National Assembly in June 2019, Hon. Uju Kingsley has been visible on the floor of the Federal House of Representatives through his legislative engagements and oversight functions, perhaps due to his wealth of experiences as a successful entrepreneur, an astute politician and administrator of repute, with a proven record of success in administrative governance and business management.
Incidentally, his Special Assistant on Administrative Matters; Mr. Ikechukeu Nnadi has described his principal as a man of progressive ideology due to his passion for wealth creation and his focus driven representative commitment to his constituents.
Speaking in a recent chat, Mr. Nnadi, who revealed that Hon. Uju Kingsley Chima’s main aim is to empower men, women and youths of Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta/Oru-West Federal Constituency, to gain employment or become self-employed and agents of positive change added that his Principal’s vision is to use entrepreneurial and skill development as tools for poverty reduction, conflict mitigation and promotion of social cohesion, while promoting and strengthening democratic processes and civic education”.
Continuing, the communicative Special Assistant expressed that soonest, men, women, sons and daughters of Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta/Oru-West Federal Constituency will be receiving an overwhelming empowerment from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) sponsored by Hon. Uju Kingsley Chima.
“Omeudo 1 of Niger Delta selected over two hundred persons from his Constituency for this empowerment and as such, has brought the constituents together as one big family to show us that truly he so much loves and cares about us”, Nnadi explained.
Furthermore, Mr. Nnadi emphasized that the “workaholic Federal lawmaker’s Zeal and determination to bring development to his Federal constituency has made his name a house hold Name in Ohaji-Egbema, Oguta, Oru-West Local Government Areas of Imo State.
“Most communities are already benefiting from projects attracted by our Federal Law Maker, who has assured his Constituents of more infrastructural projects, youth empowerment programmes and job opportunities, among others.
“As a testament, not too long ago, the good people of Mgbara Egbema in Ohaji-Egbema LGA Commended Hon. Uju Kingsley Chima for fulfilling his promise of building six blocks of class rooms in the Community and assured him of their continued support”.
Conclusively, Mr. Nnadi is of the firm belief that given his antecedents, the good people of his Constituency have no doubts that Hon. Uju Kingsley Chima, who rode on the crest of their desire for a progressive ideology and agenda in legislative/oversight functions, will improve the dynamism and functionality in quality legislation and the true meaning of representation.
