After a Long Break; Wizkid Returns With “Bad To Me”

After two years of hiatus, one of the hugely influential African artists; Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid, aka Big Whiz of (Starboy Entertainment), has returned with a brand-new smash song titled “Bad To Me.”

With the raving Amapiano sound buzzing everywhere, Starboy decided not to be left out as the new single incorporates trending elements such as crowd vocals and Amapiano which has defined the Nigerian soundscape in 2022. The song is jointly produced by P2J and Sammy Soso, and it’s sure to get the party going.

With this latest single, Bad To Me,” which is off his forthcoming album “More Love Less Ego” set for release this year, Big Whiz demonstrates a more developed vocal range and lyrical sophistication than ever before.

    It would be recalled that on 30th October 2020, Wizkid unleashed his fourth studio album called, Made In Lagos, which comes fully refined with fourteen enthralling euphonies, starring highly profiled music entertainers including; Burna Boy, Skepta, H.E.R., Ella Mai, and many others, carefully selected and added value to their songs.

    On August 29th, 2022, the project received a Gold Certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAM) after selling more than 500,000 copies in the US.

    Possibly, Wizkid is the only performer to have secured so many foreign partnerships. His most recent album features American R&B singer Chris Brown on the track “Call Me Everyday,” which is still a radio staple.
