Abimbola Islamiat Rita Abayomi known as AIRA going by the acronym of her name is an enigma of sorts. Her career as a creative and multi-gifted Ex-Beauty Queen, Red Carpet, and Reality TV Show has been on the rise, and is seen as a name to be reckoned with.
The model and lover of the screen hails from Lagos state, Nigeria, and has a Degree in English Studies from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State where she co-founded a spoken word group (Word Phantoms).
over the years, AIRA has been practical and upbeat about improving the terms of participation in society, particularly for disadvantaged people, through enhancing opportunities, access to resources, voice, and respect for rights.

‘AIRA the Brand’: Passion and Strides
Since her venture into the media industry, she has gone from hosting top celebrities in Nigeria to exclusive red-carpet moments in several top mega-events. She has also hosted top-rising reality TV shows and pageants too numerous to mention.
The diva is the creator of ‘Bluehearts by Messenger Network’, which is a platform based on the principles of humanity, committed to simplifying human rights and helping build a more conscious, active, patriotic, and committed citizen of her country.
As a model, AIRA has walked the runway of Port Harcourt Fashion and Design Week and African Fashion Week Nigeria.

At the 2021 edition of the Nigerian Queen beauty pageant, AIRA emerged winner and was crowned the 13th Nigerian Queen, making history as the first Nigerian Queen from the western region of Nigeria.
AIRA and Social Inclusion Engagements
Perhaps, the stunning diva’s reign as the 13th Nigerian Queen could be described as most focused and engaging in terms of the desire to promote charity, peace, sociocultural integration, youth empowerment, tourism, investment, and sustainable development in Nigeria.
Acknowledging the fact that the Nigerian Queen beauty pageant is not just about the funfair of crowning beauty queens, the beautiful and modest AIRA used the platform at discovering and encouraging talented youths in Nigeria to participate effectively in championing sociocultural developments in Nigeria.

Having discovered that the biggest problem facing young people is an identity crisis, she believes stems from the world being a global village and the quest to find a path for oneself within reality and what is obtainable globally, the resilient AIRA came up with the Social Inclusion Project.
AIRA’s social inclusion project focuses on the at-risk youths in society that aimed to enlighten underserved youths and those at the grassroots level on how they are also important parts of their society and how their decisions in life affect society, not just them.
Not too long ago, in a chat, the assiduous AIRA revealed to The World Satellite that her Social Inclusion Projects, featured health checks, job opportunities, and skill acquisition classes at two local government areas.

She further stated that with the help of the local government she reached over 500youths at both LCDAs, created employment opportunities as well as provided youths with skill acquisition opportunities so they can be better contributors to their society.
Additionally, she had other impactful projects like school and foundation visits to inspire and motivate kids. More so she partnered with the Initiative for Inclusive dialogue (IIDN) to give grants to young people who are actively working to create a better environment for us all.

Inspiration and Aspirations
Currently, Abimbola Abayomi is focused on building AIRA as a brand beyond the crown. In this, she is doing more work in public speaking. One of her highlights so far was being a speaker at tedxLasu where she spoke on the topic “the dangers of self-love”. She hopes to grow more in that field, sharing ideas, learning, and growing

Again, creating content that inspires and pushes people beyond their comfort zone, through the use of words, reviews, stories, and her online platform @bluehearts.mn. this is the core interest for AIRA as a brand
