The G5 Governors; Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Samuel Ortom of Benue state, and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State have a date with history.
They can become eternal heroes or doomed villains, depending on their final decision on which presidential candidate to support.
I do not take the many rumours flying around seriously. I know that reaching a common ground would always be difficult, but I do not expect them not to be able to resolve whatever their differences might be, maturely.

Even when they choose to support different candidates, it won’t be for the rumour mill to announce it to us. They will issue statements or a statement to make their stance known.
However, these G5 governors could take a good place in history as a critical group that helped Nigerian youths and patriots realize their desire for a New Nigeria if they take the right decision.

Choosing either Atiku Abubakar or Bola Tinubu as their choice candidate would leave us with no doubt that they have all the while been fighting for their interests and not for the survival of Nigeria or equity.
