In a star-studded celebration, the bride from Mbaise and the groom from Oguta, both in Imo State, celebrated their union in the company of family, friends, and celebrities. The event was a showcase of Nigerian culture; the Igbo tribe from exquisite apparel to delectable food and upbeat music.

Emeka and Victoria showed their gratitude to their loved ones in a media interview. They are excited about their future together and grateful for all the love and support they have received.

Five years into their relationship, the couple’s love story is stunning and motivational. According to Victoria’s narration of their love story, “Emeka and I have been close friends since we were in high school. Every Christmas break in the hamlet, we connected. Everyone is aware of how similar Igbos and visiting their communities for Christmas is to writing on paper.

“We were neighbors (at my maternal family villa in Oguta), and he claimed he used to see me walk by their gate with my trademark fringe haircut during the holiday season and wonder why I don’t say hello. Emeka came to the conclusion that I was a spoiled brat in that way.

“One day, our gateman Anthony, also known as Anthony Pepe, with whom I had a good relationship, got me, Emeka, and his cousin conversing on our street. Fast forward a few days, and Emeka suggests that we go for a walk. We got along so well, discussing our goals, lives, schools, and friends, among other topics. hmmmmmm!!! This young man had some wise words!

Despite the fact that we lived in different cities, we poured our souls into our friendship. We would talk about what we had done in each of our numerous cities. I attended an all-girls boarding school, so I always told my classmates about my new guy acquaintance only to make them envious of me. Lol! Emeka always felt awkward with the term ‘guy acquaintance.” “Who’s your bestie?” and “When I’m ready for you, you’ll know,” he would say. Lol. I wish I knew

“At the beginning of December 2016, I was in Lagos doing the required NYSC scheme when my mother arrived for a meeting. I met with her, and she taught me the qualities to look for in a man. I chuckled because those characteristics are not common. Lol!

Then I remarked, “The only person who has those attributes toward me is Emeka, my friend,” and she replied, “Then marry him. Hello Jisox! Is that how they get married, Mama? For Christmas that year, we traveled once more to my mother’s property. Ajeee! Then, at home, I informed them that I was going to a wedding in Owerri since Emeka had intended to show me around his hometown. I guess that was the start of something incredible!

When he suggested we get to the “that’s my wife” level (in his voice) as I was approaching my fifth year as his girlfriend, I knew he was the one.

“We kept it quiet, particularly on social media. Emeka had made up his mind to be my biggest supporter after our friendship had opened up so many doors for me. You will find him there if it helps my development as an actress or my life in general,” the bride said.
