Hon. Emeka Chinedu, the member-elect for Ahiazu Mbaise/ Ezinihitte Federal Constituency has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his constituents and the Almighty God for a successful and eventful first term in office.
As the ninth National Assembly concludes with a valedictory session, Hon. Emeka Chinedu thanked his supporters for their unwavering support and acknowledged the opportunity to serve a second term.
Following the valedictory session held at the National Assembly, Hon. Emeka Chinedu emphasized the importance of returning to his constituency and focusing on the needs of his constituents. In light of the prevailing insecurity concerns across the country, he decided against organizing an inaugural party in Abuja, considering it could be counterproductive.
In a Press Release by Nnamdi Ukasanya; Special Assistant (Media & Publicity) to the Member-Elect, Hon. Emeka Chinedu expressed his gratitude to God and his constituents for the trust placed in him, leading to his re-election for a second term. He acknowledged their support, prayers, and cooperation during his first tenure, which he believes contributed to his commendable performance.
The representative also took the opportunity to seek forgiveness from any of his constituents whom he may have unintentionally offended during his previous term. Recognizing the imperfections of human beings, Hon. Emeka Chinedu emphasized his willingness to move forward with forgiveness, extending it to anyone who might have offended him as well. He urged the entire constituency to support and cooperate with him as he embarks on his second term in office.
Addressing the security-related challenges facing the nation, Hon. Emeka Chinedu announced that instead of an inaugural party in Abuja, he plans to hold a Thanksgiving outing in the constituency. This decision aims to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, allowing for a more inclusive and secure celebration.
