In a momentous celebration, the Center for Peace Advocacy and Sustainable Development (CEPASD) commemorates its five years of unwavering commitment, consistency, and impactful operations. Speaking to the press in Abuja, Executive Director Mr. Igweshi Augustine highlighted CEPASD’s journey since its registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission on November 27, 2018.

“CEPASD has been at the forefront of holistic approaches to youth development, peacebuilding, leadership, and gender equity. The organization leads advocacy initiatives addressing gender-based violence, fostering sustainable development, advocating for social justice, and engaging stakeholders and communities to achieve lasting peace and development.

    “Over the years, CEPASD’s advocacy efforts have reached approximately 10,000 people across Nigeria, directly impacting 5,000 individuals. The organization’s focus on youth development, peacebuilding, gender equity, and leadership has resulted in tangible change and positive outcomes in various communities.”

    As CEPASD celebrates its fifth anniversary, Mr. Igweshi expressed heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated team, partners, members, and supporters who have played a crucial role in the organization’s success.
