In a resolute response to the recent wave of brutal killings in the Ahiazu Mbaise/ Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu, the esteemed representative of the constituency in the National Assembly, has vehemently condemned the increasingly barbaric nature of these acts.

Expressing deep concern over the inhumane incidents that have unfolded in the past few days within the two Local Government Areas of the Federal Constituency, Hon. Chinedu extended heartfelt condolences to the families affected.

Among those mourned are the late Ahiazu Mbaise District Police Officer and his Station officer, the late Traditional Ruler of Otulu Amumara, and the late PDP Chairman of Ife/ Akpodim/ Chokoneze Ward, along with other innocent civilians caught in the crossfire.

    Amidst the sorrow, Hon. Chinedu urged the members of the Federal Constituency to stand united in solidarity during these challenging times, emphasizing the importance of mutual support. Simultaneously, he called for swift and decisive actions to ensure justice for the victims and prevent such heinous tragedies from recurring.

    “These acts are reprehensible and have no place in our society,” he asserted, underscoring the urgency for preventive measures”.
