- Commencement/Registration: Wednesday, 16th August, 2023
- Cut-off date for Registration: Midnight Thursday, 17th August, 2023
- Swearing-In Ceremony: Friday, 18th August, 2023
- Closing Ceremony: Tuesday, 5th September, 2023

For those fortunate enough to participate in the 2023 Batch ‘B’ Stream II, this marks the beginning of an incredible journey. Beyond national service, this experience is a unique opportunity for personal development and enrichment. Ensure that you meticulously follow the instructions outlined in your Call-up Letter to make the most of this transformative adventure. International graduates are advised to have their International Passports and original uploaded documents ready for the camp.
Safety First, Always:
In line with its commitment to the welfare of participants, the NYSC strongly discourages night travel. Those embarking on this journey are urged to exercise caution and avoid traveling beyond 6:00 pm. Secure locations such as military or police barracks, NSC Secretariats, Corps Lodges, and other safe places provide optimal stopping points for extended journeys. Your Call-up Letter is an indispensable guide, furnishing crucial information for a safe arrival.
Guardians’ Advisory:
Parents and guardians are pivotal in ensuring the safety of their wards. A vigilant approach to personal security is paramount. Emphasize the importance of utilizing government-approved motor parks and avoiding unregistered vehicles by the roadside. This guidance will contribute significantly to the safety of participants during their journey.
Prerequisites for Registration:
NYSC management has streamlined the registration process to ensure efficiency. Prospective Corps Members are required to present essential documents:
1. Original Call-up Letter or its printed equivalent
2. Original Statement of Result or an endorsed Certificate
3. School Identity Card
4. Foreign graduates must provide their International Passport alongside original uploaded documents
5. Medical professionals must present proof of Professional Body Registration
6. All Prospective Corps Members must obtain a Certificate of Fitness from a Government or Military Hospital.
N/B: All married pregnant and nursing mothers not deployed to their respective husbands’ places of domicile can now proceed to the NYSC Orientation Camps within their spouses’ States of residence for Orientation Course. However, they All Married pregnant and nursing mothers are to present for registration, in addition to other relevant documents: Evidence of marriage, Identity of husband, and Evidence of husband’s place of domicile.
