Makurdi, Benue State, – In a proactive step towards bolstering its organizational prowess, the Spring of Hope for Girlchild Development Initiative (SHoGDI) conducted an internal capacity-building session focused on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) at its office premises in Makurdi on Monday.
Recognizing the pivotal role that staff capacity building plays in organizational development and overall success, SHoGDI invested in a comprehensive training session aimed at honing participants’ skills in the realm of M&E.

The training, centered on the concepts and practices of M&E framework design, held the dual purpose of augmenting understanding and competence in the design of both Programs and M&E Plans. Under the guidance of the session’s facilitator, Mr. Charlse Adi, participants were led through a dynamic learning process that covered key principles of M&E.
The primary objectives of the training were to increase participants’ grasp of the intricacies underlying M&E frameworks and plans and to empower them with the ability to adeptly design effective Programs and M&E Plans.

The culmination of the training was marked by a post-training assessment, which participants undertook to gauge their newfound knowledge. The feedback from Mr. Charlse Adi, the facilitator, was resoundingly positive, as he expressed his satisfaction with the participants’ performance in the post-training test. Their proficiency in grasping the concepts and techniques of M&E was evident in their results.
