Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, Muhammed Badaru Abubakar, has called upon African defense ministers to unite against terrorism and its associated crimes. This appeal was made during a summit in Abuja, where ministers agreed to collaborate with global partners to devise effective strategies.
“We must stand together as Africa to combat terrorism and insecurity,” stressed Minister Badaru, underscoring the urgency of coordinated efforts.

Emphasizing the significance of intelligence sharing and monitoring terrorist funding and arms acquisition, Badaru suggested that such measures could deter terrorism and halt the cross-border movements of militants.
