During a recent visit to the Presidential Villa, the Honourable Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Muhammed Matawalle, MON, engaged in discussions with Vice President H.E. Kashim Shettima, GCON, emphasizing the necessity of unwavering support and loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
The discussions revolved around the remarkable achievements of President Tinubu’s administration, particularly in the Northern region, and the imperative for all stakeholders to rally behind the Renewed Hope Agenda for national development.
Dr. Matawalle reiterated his commitment to supporting and defending the government’s policies and programs, advocating for constructive dialogue and cooperation among political appointees. He highlighted his role in bolstering national security through strategic policy development, counter-terrorism initiatives, capacity building, community engagement, and regional security cooperation.
In response, Vice President Shettima commended Dr. Matawalle for his steadfast allegiance to President Tinubu and urged other appointees to follow suit.
