Abuja, Nigeria – In a move to strengthen diplomatic ties and promote tourism between Namibia and Nigeria, reigning Miss Tourism Nigeria, Queen Ebere Joy, paid a visit to the Namibian Embassy in Nigeria on Friday.
During her meeting with the honorable high commissioner, Amb Humphrey Geiseb, discussions revolved around establishing and fortifying relationships with Nigerian youths to harness their potential as a driving force for economic growth.
Recognizing the significance of youth involvement in the economy, the fruitful visit, which delved into various aspects, including politics, and the economy emphasized the importance of engaging Nigerian and Namibian youths to further the tourism potentials of both African nations.

She also expressed her desire to collaborate with Namibia in cultural events and initiatives that will further deepen the ties between the two nations.
In response, Ambassador Humphrey Geiseb commended Queen Ebere Joy for her dedication to promoting tourism and cultural exchange. He assured her of the Namibian Embassy’s support in realizing their shared goals and expressed his willingness to work closely with her during her reign.
