Spring of Hope for Girlchild Development Initiative (SHOGDI) has lauded Lawyers Alert Nigeria for unveiling the “first” TB human rights violations report in Nigeria.
According to a statement by SHOGDI, this pioneering report, which aligns with the Human Rights and Gender Action Plan for Tuberculosis Care and Prevention in Nigeria 2021-2025, was revealed during a data validation meeting organized by Lawyers Alert.
While stating that the meeting provided an invaluable learning opportunity, resonating deeply with their work in the development space, SHOGDI emphasized the significance of addressing TB issues comprehensively, including safeguarding rights and combating stigmatization.
