In light of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s speech commemorating Nigeria’s 64th Independence anniversary, Showlate Entertainment Limited has emphasized the importance of harnessing Nigeria’s rich cultural identity as a unifying force for national cohesion and a powerful tool for national unity.

In a statement released today, the entertainment company highlighted the significance of cultural preservation and promotion in fostering a cohesive society amidst the country’s diverse ethnicities and backgrounds. The company emphasized that the focus of President Tinubu’s speech on promoting peace, unity, and economic growth aligns with the goals of Showlate Entertainment’s upcoming Cultural Canvas Art & Festivals Photography Exhibitions 2024.

    Emmanuel Solate, CEO of Showlate Entertainment, revealed that the initiative aims to celebrate and showcase Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage through a series of nationwide exhibitions. He highlighted that the project will feature art and photography capturing the vibrancy and diversity of various Nigerian festivals, thereby reinforcing the country’s cultural identity.

    “As we reflect on our journey as a nation, it is crucial to recognize the role our cultural heritage plays in uniting us. Through art and cultural festivals, we can bridge gaps and build a more inclusive society,” Mr. Solate stated.

    Mr. Solate extended an invitation to the Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy (FMACCE) to collaborate on this initiative, emphasizing that the Ministry’s involvement could significantly enhance the credibility and visibility of the exhibitions, which are expected to engage a wider audience and promote cultural appreciation across Nigeria.

      “We believe that a partnership with the FMACCE will not only amplify our efforts but also align with the Ministry’s mission to preserve and promote Nigeria’s cultural assets,” Solate added.

      He also commended the achievements of the FMACCE under the leadership of Minister Hannatu Musawa since she assumed office in 2023, noting her dedication to advancing Nigeria’s cultural agenda and fostering artistic expression across the country. “Her initiatives have set a remarkable precedent for cultural engagement, and we look forward to working together to further enhance Nigeria’s cultural landscape.”

      The CEO further stated that Showlate Entertainment aims to leverage this collaboration to strengthen national unity and pride, encouraging Nigerians to embrace their diverse cultural heritage. “The Cultural Canvas initiative will not only celebrate the beauty of Nigerian traditions but also serve as a reminder of the collective strength found in unity.”
