Ghanaian President Tenders Apology for Demolition, Orders Investigation

    President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana has expressed his apologies to President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria over the demolition of a building on the premises of Nigerian High Commission in Accra, Ghana.

    Mr. Garba Shehu; Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, who revealed this in a statement on Tuesday informed that the Ghanaian leader in a telephone call told President Buahri that he has directed full investigation into the incident.

    The statement also revealed that earlier in the day, it further emerged that some suspects had been arrested, and will be arraigned in court.
