Miss Eje Inayi Favour may not be among the popular faces seen on television yet, but the first and reigning Face of Igede Nigeria has distinguished herself as a perfect example of a personality, who has broken free from imposed and self-imposed blockades that usually dragged behind, most individuals from achieving their dreams. She is a fast-rising strong-willed model, Actor, Tv Host, and Beautician whose expertise is in pageantry, commercials, and runway.
Family and Academic Profile:
From a modest background, Miss Eje was born to an average Nigerian family of Obi L.G.A, Benue state origin. She had her primary education at the Benue State University Staff School.
Subsequently, she proceeded to the Queen of the Rosary Secondary School, Gboko; a very exceptional single-sex boarding School in Benue State. She later got admission into the Benue State University where she has in view a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Diplomatic Studies.
Professional Highlights:
Very assiduous, focused, and result-oriented, Queen Favour has over time demonstrated her passion for beauty and entertainment. She exhibited the traits of modelling at a very tender age as while growing up she would carefully choose outfits, locations, postures, friends, etc to engage in.
The persevering and hardworking Miss Inayi started professionally with the Miss Humanities Department at Queen of the Rosary Secondary School, where she rose to be the face of the school in 2016. At that time, she represented the School in Runways, essay writings, and drama in the All-Secondary Schools Arts and Culture Competition Benue State.
As a commercial model, she has modelled for Zaron Cosmetics and a few Fashion Brands in Nigeria. Beyond this, she has tutored and managed quite several runways and pageantries. As well, Eje Inayi Favour has featured in several movies such as Forever, Dr Abel Tv series, Book of kings, Yamashe, etc. Currently, she is hosting a Tv Programme tagged: “Benue Cruise” on NTA Network Centre Makurdi.
Humanitarian Profile:
Acknowledging the fact that beauty and entertainment are not just about funfair and glamour, the creative and innovative Favour has used her various platforms at discovering and encouraging talented female youths in Nigeria to participate effectively in championing charity campaigns and development in Nigeria.
Her zeal and passion for outreach and community engagements became more profound when she contested and won the maiden edition of the Face of Igede Nigeria pageant in 2019; a crown she has held over the years on the crest of her desire to promote charity, peace, socio-cultural integration, youth empowerment, tourism, investment and sustainable development in Nigeria.
As a testament to her will and commitment; Queen Eje Inayi Favour who is passionate about inspiring people and contributing to solving an ordeal has, as part of her outreach programs, visited Orphanages, and IDP camps.
A hardworking, innovative, and strong team player, during the covid-19 outbreak, she distributed customized facemasks on the streets of Oju LGA, Benue state. More so, during a fuel tanker explosion incident along Aliade-Makurdi Road in Benue State on 1st July 2019, Queen Inayi took it upon herself to support the medical bills of some victims.
Describing volunteerism and humanitarian engagements as fruitful and fulfilling, she revealed in a chat that such engagements have given her an insight into what showing love means and what it feels like to put smiles on people’s faces. “With the little given, I always receive more in terms of prayers and gratitude from the families of the beneficiaries. It has been fulfilling and gratifying”.
No doubt, every gesture has an inspiration; Queen Favour, who is being guided by the maxim; “it is better to give than to receive” noted that the act of giving has been one of her attributes and feels glad doing it when the opportunity calls for it.
“If I am in the position to help or reach out and I fail to do that I would forever be restless. Being in the beauty and entertainment industry has created that platform for me to help and touch lives in my little way and I have to do it with joy’’.
Aspirations:
Seeing her greatest strength in God, determination to win, and stature, Queen Favour, who loves being in the spotlight aims at becoming a successful entrepreneur, with a special interest in the fashion and beauty industry in addition to being a global brand within the next 5 years. Hopefully, she will get there!
