Josephine Adokwu is a fashion designer, youth mobilizer, and advocate of social justice for women, girlchild, and the youth. She is the creative director and founder of Chetu’s Fashion Empire; a ready-to-wear and bespoke outfit for stylish men, women, and kids. She hails from Benue State and has a degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Management.
Her Passion and Strides
Miss Josephine has for the last six years sought several platforms to demonstrate her passion for women and youth social development. Perhaps, most significant was her engagements with youths in rural communities on a project called “Youth Digital Engagement”.
The project successfully trained youths to be advocates for their communities. Additionally, it enabled the youths to understand their basic rights and were trained on how to engage duty bearers using digital means.
On the other hand, Miss Adokwu has also demonstrated a strong passion for fashion design and personal development. She got into the fashion business in 2019 and professionalized it in 2021. Down the line, the resilient, innovative, and hard-working Josephine has sought creative ways to demonstrate her relevance and passion for the already over-saturated industry.

Her Inspiration
Uplifting others through her creative works and seeing men, women, and children dressed beautifully stimulates her creative juice. Again, being able to give it all to her family and continue to make her late father proud has been a motivating force for the energetic and outspoken Josephine Adokwu.
Her Aspiration
Josephine Adokwu wants to look back on her engagements and be proud of her work by being the best of who she is. Beyond working hard to make Chetu’s Fashion Empire one of the most sought-after in the industry, she aspires to be in a position, which can influence policies that speak directly to the needs of women, children, and the youths in Nigeria and beyond.
Given her passion, enthusiasm, and achievements so far, Miss Josephine Adokwu could best be described as a perfect example of a youth persona who is breaking free from imposed and self-imposed blockades that usually drag behind, most individual youths from achieving their dreams. She is therefore The World Satellite Ambassador of The Week!
