Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Dame Didi Esther Walson-Jack as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF). The Governor praised the seasoned administrator for breaking barriers and serving as a trailblazer, not just for Rivers State but for the entire Niger Delta region.
Governor Fubara highlighted Dame Walson-Jack’s exemplary public service career, which began with her appointment as a Permanent Secretary in 2017. He noted her leadership qualities, integrity, courage, and resilience, emphasizing that her achievements will inspire many young girls in Rivers State to aspire to greatness.
“As you assume duties as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation effective August 14, we are proud of the significant milestone you have achieved in your public service career,” Governor Fubara stated.
The Governor also praised President Tinubu for his commitment to merit and national integration, describing the appointment as a reflection of the President’s dedication to fairness, justice, and the principles of federal character.
