In a heartwarming display of compassion and solidarity, the Makiv TalentedKids took to the streets of Makerere Kivulu, a small slum area in Uganda’s capital, Kampala, over the weekend. Despite grappling with their challenges, these resilient children extended the spirit of Easter to their peers through a charitable outreach, made possible by the generous donations of Mbabazi Judith.
Founded by Ntwali Emmanuel, Makiv Talentedkids.ug was established with a noble mission: to combat the pervasive issues of child abuse and the damaging effects of low self-esteem and mental health among Uganda’s youth. Driven by an unwavering commitment and with support from good-spirited benefactors, Mr. Ntwali has made a tangible difference in the lives of Kampala’s most vulnerable children.
Emmanuel Solate, a principal benefactor for the Makiv Talentedkids, celebrated this initiative, recognizing the profound impact of the children’s selfless acts. “Despite facing their adversities, they chose to extend a hand of solidarity to their fellow children, and the aged, embodying the true spirit of compassion and giving back to the community”, Solate enthused.
In a statement, Solate commended the Makiv TalentedKids.ug for their resilience and generosity, emphasizing the importance of such acts of kindness in fostering unity and hope within the community. He applauded their determination to make a positive difference, despite the challenges they face daily.
Furthermore, Solate extended gratitude to Mbabazi Judith for her generous donation, which made the Easter charity outreach possible. “Her contribution not only facilitated the distribution of essential items to those in need but also served as a testament to the power of collective action in creating meaningful change,” Solate commended.
