The Miss Face of Humanity Nigeria (MFOH Nigeria) has continued to take proactive steps to implement its goal of providing a platform and countless opportunities for people to share their voices, purpose, poise, and confidence with the world.

An expression of the will of the international franchise managed by Thecoaches to contribute to the advancement of humanity through campaigns and outreaches was underscored by the visit of Miss Face of Humanity Nigeria; Amb. Rita Chika Ezenwa to the United Nations House in Abuja Nigeria.

    The official visit took place on Thursday as part of MFOH Nigeria’s effort in seeking a veritable platform to campaign for world peace, respect for human rights, and diplomacy across the world.

    Amb. Rita, when received in audience by the UN Resident Coordinator; Amb. Mathias Schmale expressed the readiness of the MFOH Nigeria and Thecoaches to partner and support developmental issues that advance and protect humanity as a whole as well as fast track sustainable projects and outreaches for the rural communities in Abuja.

      Before meeting with the UN Resident Coordinator, Amb. Rita Ezenwa met with the Senior Human Rights Adviser; Ms. Adwoa Kufuor, and National Information Officer; Oluseyi Soremekun on issues of Human Rights, especially as it relates to children living with various forms of disability.

      Both parties affirmed their interest in deepening avenues for public enlightenment, research, and dialogue to enhance awareness of Human Rights issues and ensuring that everybody has a fair chance to state his/her case despite physical challenges.

        In recognition that Peace has always been among humanity’s highest values, The MFOH Nigeria also met with the Peace and Development Advisor; Kimairis Toogood, who expressed her satisfaction with the advocacy efforts and focus of the organization.

        She further agreed on the necessity to strengthen collaborations and pledged her readiness to work with the MFOH Nigeria whenever the need arises.

          Perhaps it will be apt to mention here that during the different meetings, the need to advance and effectively consolidate the respect and enjoyment of human rights in Nigeria and beyond was emphasized.
