The expression of the will of Miss Face of Humanity Nigeria (MFOH Nigeria) and the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) to collaborate in advancing and effectively consolidating the respect and enjoyment of human rights in Nigeria attained a new height recently.
This was evident on Thursday during a strategic meeting with the Director overseeing the Human Rights Institute; Mr. Obinna Nwakonye and MFOH Nigeria’s Ambassador; Queen Rita Chika Ezenwa in Abuja for proper Human Rights exchange programmes.
The meeting, held at the Human Rights Institute was to express the readiness of both organisations to support Human Rights issues in Nigeria as well as fast-track roboust developmental engagements aimed at providing avenues for public enlightenment, and dialogue to enhance awareness and consolidate on the progress both organisations are making in ensuring that everybody has a fair chance to state his/her case.
According to Mr. Obinna Nwakonye, the National Human Rights Commission welcomes collaborations with credible NGOs and CSOs such as MFOH Nigeria whose goals align with that of the Commission in seeking avenues to deepen the fight against human rights abuses and ensuring that everybody has a fair chance to state his or her case.
In her remarks, Amb. Rita Chika Ezenwa expressed the pleasure of Miss Face Humanity Nigeria as an organisation in partnering with the National Human Rights Commission.
She noted: “the reason for this partnership is to seek more veritable platforms to contribute to the advancement of humanity through campaigns and outreaches geared toward peace, and respect for human rights in Nigeria, believing that it will create countless opportunities for Nigerians to share their voices”.
MFOH Nigeria is an international franchise managed by THECOACHES. It is a humanitarian-based global showcase for female change-makers who believe in the power of humanity to change the world.

While National Human Rights Commission serves as an extra-judicial mechanism for the respect and enjoyment of human rights. It also provides avenues for public enlightenment, research, and dialogue in order to raise awareness of Human Rights issues.
