Controversial Nigerian artist, Portable, has responded to his removal from a Celestial Church praise night lineup. The Land of Goshen Cathedral in Lagos initially announced Portable and Fuji musician Pasuma as guest performers, sparking controversy.
Following public outcry, church leader Olatosho Oshoffa later stated on Facebook that Portable and Pasuma would no longer participate. In response, Portable urged people not to judge him solely on his appearance and requested to be seen as a child of God.

He disclosed that the church had paid him N5 million for the performance, emphasizing his commitment to fulfilling the contractual agreement. Speaking in Yoruba, Portable pleaded with the Land of Goshen Cathedral to consider them as children of God and not to judge based on external factors.
